Yesterday afternoon brought thick clouds, some spits of rain and glassy calm most of the afternoon.  Caught 19 bass, mostly 2-3lb, almost all on soft plastics near the bank.  Bite really slowed after mid-afternoon lunch.  Bathing beauty cattle cooled off next to the dam but didn't bother the bite in other parts of lake.  Enjoyed brief chat with owner, and even more blessed with an afternoon of socially distant time outside in God's creation.
