2 of us fished Beaver Lake from 8:00 to 2:00.  Wind really came up (about 20mph), so it was very difficult to hold our small boat in position and fish.  We used a lot of different lures, but watermelon red flake Senkos w/o weight seemed to be most productive.  MEPS also worked good, when you could keep them out of the grass.  There is a ton of vegetation almost everywhere in the lake, so throwing anything with hooks exposed i.e. crank baits, spinner baits, rattle traps, etc. was difficult. Good day on the lake despite the wind and record high temps (97 degrees!).  There are a ton of fish in this lake!  We had a relatively slow day catching 5-7 apiece, all in the 1-2 pound range.  On a different day, you should be able to catch big numbers of fish!
