I reserved the lake for the whole day, but due to work, was only able to get out after lunch and fished from about 2:15 to 4:30.  I took the kids, 6 and 8 years old, and each caught 1 bass, both of them using a small spinnerbait.  I fished mostly with a Strike King Cut-R Worm, Texas rigged, and also a weightless Strike King Ocho.  I caught 10 more bass in those 2 hours.  Most of them were in the 1.5-2.5 pound range, to go along with a 7 pounder and an 8 pounder!  The fish were incredible healthy and fat.  I loved how easy the lake wa to fish from the bank which was great for the kids.  I also love how the lake did not have much moss or too much vegetation with helped my kids continuously cast with not much in the way of snags or moss.  Great day of fishing for the whole family!
