Our first trip to Bennett Lake. Beautiful lake in a very peaceful surrounding. Afternoon trip. Water level was high. Not being familiar with the lake we spent some time exploring different fishing spots. Wind was high most of the afternoon so we tried to stay in wind protected areas. Bite was very slow. Looking forward to a return trip soon.

Welcome to the club! I would recommend fishing between the boat launch and the point directly across from the house. There are a few submerged stick ups on the way over to the point that can be very productive and the point itself usually produces some good action. I would also recommend working both the deep and shallow water portions in front of the dam.
