Wife, son, and I fished Triple J on Saturday under varying skies and temps starting in mid-40's reaching upper-60's. Winds light 5-8mph. Water clarity to about 18''. Caught a good number of fish throughout the day - never any fast action and no real concentration of fish. Finished with 53 bass and 1 crappie; with 3 at 3+ lbs and one that Pam caught at 5.22 near the West corner of the dam. They were not chasing and had no luck on topwater, spinnerbait, chatterbait, or senko. What mostly worked was shakey, drop shot, soft jerkbait, and the ned rig. Fish were relating to shoreline in 3 to 6 FOW. Wonderful day to get out and enjoy the weather and the bassin'.
