saturday i was looking for a good place to have 18 people together for Mothers Day . called restaurants and no openings. thought about a city park and thought about the crowds. then an idea hit me!!! call the club and see if Weston Lake would work. i have fished there before and knew the landscape would work , so i called good, trusty Brian. he called, set it all up and we were set. all i had to do was call everyone, give them location. sunday morning we grabed all the food and goodies and met at the lake. we all arrived to see that the land owner had mowed manucured and even had drug all the dirt in a nice picnic area for us. some fished, some sat around enjoying the view, some even played some good games of Washers. even my mother of 82 was either playing with great grand kids or chatting with the owner. she even took a ride on my cousins motorcycle. fun time for all and all ages. you know you got a great family when the Moms all want to go to the lake for mothers day.next time you have a get together try Weston Lake. it is a great layout. Oh! we caught fish too
