My son & I fished the East lake from 10:30-6:30 on Thursday 4/23. Great weather, sunny & light breeze. Water was stained and lake was very full (think they had storms the night before). Visibility about 1' max. Worked shallow and deep, from the bank to the trees - caught bass all around the lake, with most coming close to shore. Threw the sink at them, but all they seemed to want were weightless Brush Hogs & KVD Ocho. Green Pumpkin was definitely the color of the day - only other color that worked was watermelon, and that only landed 2 fish. Had read some great reviews about some big catches, but our two biggest were only 3.0 & 2.4. Out of the 22 caught, we culled 20. My son commented that we were doing some good population management! We really enjoyed Dogwood - the boat was great and it's an immaculate property. We'll be back for the big ones!
