Fished Gallant Elm Creek on May 9th from noon until 6 PM.

Air temp:  79 at noon; 87 at 6 PM

water temp:  74

Water clarity:  3 ft

lake level:  down about 5 ft; I would not recommend trying to launch a private boat;  I had trouble getting the jon boat launched

It was very windy, but I managed to catch about 14; lost 5. Nothing of any size.  Green was the go to color.

Successful lures:

- Shaky head with green ribbon worm; fished from the cove across from the launch site into 14 ft (4 bass)

- Green soft plastic weight jerk bait (9 bass)

- Green rattle trap (3 bass)

- Blue/chart suspending jerk bait (hard) (2 bass)
