Had a good time even though the climate was not typical late spring weather. Ended up catching 14 in 3 hours before the chill became too much for my thin skin. The lake is in good shape with plenty of cover to fish and teeming with life. I shared the lake with egrets, bull frogs, snakes, and a nutria(beaver). Saw many bass fingerling in the shallows and their parents keep me busy when I wasn’t paddling my yak or enjoying the sights. The outer edge of the grass along the dam yielded several 3 pounders and one that may have gone 5(my largest PWF bass to date).  I hope for the opportunity to come back in the future.
