The water clarity was around 6" at best. Unusual for the lake based on past trip experiences. Lots of wind. Riding the thumb break on the spool all day when wind was not at our back. The fish were scattered and no pattern really to speak of. The fish were healthy mostly in the 2 to 3 pound range with no seizable catches this time around. Still a awesome experience to get out on a beautiful lake on a nice day. Tried all the usual suspect baits (cranks, spinners. rattle traps, bladed jig, carolina, etc.) and nothing really produced.
