Spent part of two days at beautiful Yates Place. My wife and I caught 24 with a couple over 4 lbs. and the rest in the 2-3 lb. range with 5 unders harvested. The weather was warm on Monday with cooler temps and a cold front on Tuesday. The fishing was steady but never did locate that one big bite. Yates Place is that lake in the club that keeps you coming back to fulfill that dream of a life-time bass. Those trophy bass are there; it's just finding them. And as numerous reports suggest, they are often found! Plus it's always a special pleasure to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Yates and to enjoy their great hospitality.
