Took an AM trip out to Bridle Oaks on Friday. Ended the morning with 36 bass and 0 culls. A good amount of fish just above 14in. Most productive areas were the shallow end near the creek and the pocket around the boat dock. Tried fishing deep in spots that had worked in the past but only caught a few. Frogs worked early along the bank and then we switched to plastics for the rest of the day. Wacky rigs, flukes, and weightless craws all worked in watermelon/green pumpkin color. It didn't seem to really matter what rig or type of plastic you were using. Also caught a number of large bluegill. They were hitting our baits even harder than the bass. Water clarity was good and grass is not too much of a problem. There are certain spots where the grass has grown almost to the surface but others where there is practically no grass at all. Plenty of good water to fish.
