Fished live oaks fish farm on Sunday, 22nd of May all day and caught 40 to 50 fish, maybe more we lost count. All sizes , some pretty good 5 and 6 lbs on top water and shallow baits. Probably because of all the vegetation in the majority of the lake. Definitely would fish this location again.

Great report. We have only had a few trips to this lake this year. This property use to be a members only, very expensive, costing thousands of dollars to join, club lake. However, the cost of diesel fuel and other expenses to keep this levee style lake full did not justify the owners effort to keep it full. Consequently, the lake does not stay full, the water it receives is strictly rainfall. However, this allows our members to fish on less water but at a fraction of what the former members paid to fish. While this lake does not fish like its glory days, it also does not cost thousands of dollars like it use to. As you can tell from this report there are still lots of quality fish.
