A Friend and I went out on Sunday morning. Overcast most of the morning and a bit windy (when is it not windy in the spring).Great fishing day!!

This lake has a lot of big healthy fish. Caught about 30, most of which were in the 2-4 lb range. The entire edge of the lake is very weedy which makes for some fun top water action. Used brush hogs (texas rig), shad lure & frogs all morning.

Great lake and I can’t wait to get back…There were some very big fish that I hooked but was simply not good enough to get them into the boat. (pardon the pun but they schooled me) Looking forward to a rematch!
