Well, that didn't go so well. Heavy storms rolled through last night. Water 75 degrees, and churned with about 6" of viability. I knew going in that this wasn't going to be the best of conditions. While I was setting-up my boat, there were several blow-ups on top. Once I got on the water, I tried top water walking baits hoping for reactionary strikes with no takers. Was able to manage 2 fish, both about 1.5 lbs., that were culled, on a Pumpkin/Chartreuse Lizard. Both were a surprise considering the state of the water. Goes that way some times. Next visit will be better.
