My wife and I stayed the night at Canton/China Grove last Saturday night (Rose’s cabin). This is one of our favorite places to stay at within the PWF properties.
I fished Parker Branch on Sunday morning. It was quite windy which made it difficult to fish the large pond. Got a few bites at this spot but no fish. I moved to the smaller pond and caught 8 bass using a rubber toad.
The water level in all of the ponds is the lowest I have seen in 7 years. This area definitely needs a good soaking.

We stayed the long weekend at the bunk house. Grand kids had a great time and I got tired of baiting hooks and taking blue gills off. Was windy the entire weekend. I caught a few bass each morning before my shadows woke up. Devon needs to bring in someone to seed the clouds, pray or do a rain dance. I thought the water was low in 2007.
