First my wife and I want to say this property is GREAT!! The cabin is perfect for a couple.  She would like to stay here and just relax and work on crafts.  Now here is the fishing report:

Sunday (May 22): fished 3:30 - 6:30 PM

water temp:  74
air temp: Mid 80s
water clarity: slightly stained
wind: gusty

Total caught: 11 (missed 2 or 3)
3 bass in the 15-17” range; all the rest were 12” and less
All caught on suspending jerk bait (hard) blue/orange in 5-10 ft on the outside grass edge mainly on the south (left of pier) side.

Monday (May 23): 7:00 - 10:30 AM

water temp:  74
air temp: upper 70s
water clarity: slightly stained
wind: variable (not as gusty as Sunday)

Total caught: 5 (missed 3-4)
2 bass over 12”
All caught on Hedron torpedo/prop (green/yellow) top water; most on the North (right of pier) over the grass beds.

Storm hit around 11AM and attempted to fish in the afternoon (dead calm), but nothing was biting.  Then wind became very gusty and still no bites.

Recommendations:  The two batteries at the property are good for a couple of hours, but if you intend to fish from the boat (very nice for one maybe two people) recommend you bring a marine-grade battery.

We plan to return probably in the Fall.
