My wife and I took our 7 yr old granddaughter & 10 yr old nephew overnight to Lakeside.  Despite the gale force winds, we all had a good fishing experience and overnight stay.  We were unable to fish from the boat, so from the dock the kids caught nice size bluegill and one 3# largemouth by our nephew.  It was our granddaughter’s first fishing trip and she’s ready for the next outing!
Sunday a.m. I walked the perimeter of the lake and caught 4 largemouth on topwater about 10’ from the bank. 
This property is topnotch!
