Was raining when I left OKC, and was hoping the rain would clear at the ranch.  When I got there the clouds were clearing and it turned out to be a great day  I started at Crabgrass.  The water was clear but the moss and lilies are overtaking the lake.  Once you get out towards the timber it gets better and the fish were holding around the timber.  The fish were active and I had a good time fishing plastic lizards.  12 fish in all, 6 in the 2 - 2 1/2 lb range  culled 6 bass and one pound and a half crappie.  On to Peach Creek.  The wind was blowing and it made it hard to fish.  Like Crabgrass, this lake is getting overgrown with lillies in the shallower areas.  Again the bass were holding tight to the timber. Culled 2, caught a couple of 3 lbers.  Tired of fighting the wind, I called it a day.
