Yates Place is a beautiful property and the owners Dwain and Kay are super nice people who run a first-class operation.  The lake house accomadations are second to none, with a beautiful deck and boat dock right out the back door.  As far as fishing went, it was tough going.  The wind at times made it unfishable due to whitecaps on the water.  Did manage to catch and release 12 nice ones, the biggest being 5.2 lbs caught right off the dock on a crank bait.  Most others were caught on white or green Bass Assassins fished along the grassy edges and stick-ups. Harvested about 20 small ones.  While the conditions made the fishing a slight disappointment, overall it was a fantastic weekend and very relaxing.  Will definitely go back again!
