Wednesday and no wind to fight at Lakeside, just the bass. Fished the afternoon with lots of sun. Caught 11 total 4 harvested under 14". The good news is the 7 that I released weighed in at 23 lbs! Big fish pictured was just over 6 lbs. Kinda skinny for a 23" bass but she fought like a champ with flying leaps. The 3 biggest fish all came on a white spinnerbait. All others on a watermelon wacky worm. Caught them all in about 4 feet of water just out from the bank. Nothing off the west bank, all from the dam and east side. Eight years fishing Lakeside and it always delivers solid fish. FYI, did like it better before they removed the lily pads.
