Welcome to the club. Thank you for your report. I am a fellow sometimes flyfisher and also bait caster/senko slinger. We all would love to hear more about your experience at Timber. I have fished there 4 times and had both great and not so great experiences there. I caught a 5.95 lb bass on a fly rod streamer in late Feb 2019. I have not had a chance to get there in 2020. Do you fish flies exclusively? Some of us only do fly rods. The frog bite normally turns about this time of year at Timber Lake. The owner is a really great person if you meet her. Good to hear from you.
