I fished this lake on the last day of the Big Bass fishing tournament with hopes of upsetting the leader of the big bass tournament but that did not happen. I was about 5 or 6 lbs short of my mark with 4 of the bass I caught. The weather was ideal with little or no wind at times but it was very hot.  So, we took a lunch break from 1pm until 4:30pm. When we got back on the water the fishing really heated up. We caught fish on spinner baits, Buzz baits, Shad rap knocker, floating grass hopper, Rag tail frogs, lizards and worms. My brother lost an 8 pounder at the boat on a pop R. Oh almost forgot, caught a couple of bream on the grass hopper and Pop R with one about 2 pounds. This is a great place and I look forward to going back.
