We started out at 3:15 pm and within 5 minutes had a nice 4.35 lb bass off the bottom about 15 feet from bank just 30 feet from boat house, then only 3 more fish in next 1 1/2 hours.  my fishing partner arrived at 4:45 and he started in with Red Rattle Trap on the east end of the lake...over next 3 hours he caught 7 nice fish.  my son and i finished the night with 5 more on baby brush hogs and rapala shad wrap. no real pattern..only red bait they would hit was red rattle trap.  i feel this lake has been fished hard the last 2 weeks.  it needs a break.  moss is thick and nasty, fish are healthy and strong...1 1lb red ear blue gill he was a hawg.
