First time out to this beautiful ranch, and we had our work cut out for us at Waco Creek. We caught 8 with 3 unders being harvested and 5 released that were all solidly in the 3 to 4lb range. T-Rig soft plastics were the only thing that worked except for a good bass on a buzz bait early in the morning. Water was 80* with about 18'' viz. Weed growth was significant in the shallow arms of the lake, but very fishable throughout most of this beautiful lake. Saw significant schools of baitfish surfacing in the early morning, but there didn't seem to be any bass chasing. Exquisite ranch, easy access, HUGE stable decked jonboats with motors and batteries and a covered pavilion area where you can break for lunch. Thanks PWF - we will be back!
