Kayak launched @ 6:30 and the wind was already 8-10mph. First cast of the day resulted in a nice little 2 pounder on a square bill crank bait. Tried throwing the frog in the limited calm water, no takers. By 7:30 the wind was probably 15-20mph. No chance to throw much else with the wind blowing me around. Anchoring was not an option, so I drifted from one end of the lake to the other. Fished the dock area for grins and hooked a few crappie. Stuck it out until 11 and called it a day. Nice little pond.
