Got off to a great start catching 40 in the first hour and 45 minutes. Felt like Edwin Evers at the Major League Fishing Redcrest Cup. Next 2 hours only caught 10. Expected it to slow down with the heat though. Caught 90% of them at the front corner of the dam (opposite side from the pier). Only bank fished. Most were caught with a swim jig and a stick minnow using a steady retrieve. 50 total with no culls and had about 8-10 throw the hook. The fish were very feisty but weren't particularly crushing it on the strike. Sized from about 1.5 lbs to 3+ lbs. Typical Bridle Oaks that they are all similar size but a heck of a lot of fun. I catch as many, or more, bank fishing this lake than I do in a boat. That's one of the things that makes this a great property, in my opinion. Have a great 4th of July. God Bless America

Dennis,

How was the water ;eve; and vegetation growth? Can get pretty thick during the summer.

Thanks,

Steve

Lots of fish there.
