Bank fished from the dam with 2 of my sons from 9 AM until 4 PM. Caught 40, most on various colored Wave Worms rigged wacky style and a few on spinner baits and top water. We had a fairly steady bite all day with plently of misses. About 4 fish were 16-18 inches, most 15-16, and 5 dinks.
Bank fishing was good from the dam with a gale at our backs. Fishing from the pier or along the other banks was difficult due to the wind and grass. The property was about 4 foot low, but the rancher had the pumps going, Grass is getting pretty thick, but there is plenty of fishable water if you use a boat (if the wind dies down). Temp gauge in Giddings read 104.
