I brought the wife and child hoping to have a good time catching a lot of bass. The place was nice and there was a clean aluminum boat readily available to use. Make sure to bring another person to help carry the boat further down the shoreline because of the grass. There was no launch pad. We got on the water around 6-630 pm to beat the heat. Anyways summer is probably not a good time to fish the lake since the lake was pretty much choked by the hydrilla grass. We were limited to one open spot about 20 yds x 40 yds due to the hydrilla growth making it hard to troll and fish around the rest of the lake. We caught a few bass but all in all we had a good time. My 7 yr old enjoyed the trip. She was able to catch one and miss another. I think it would have been a lot better if the hydrilla was controlled.
