Started out around 5pm, slow, not a bite for a couple hours. Then ended the last hour with 6 fish. Caught them all on the south side of the lake. These are some of the healthiest fish I have seen. Fished same property last month but stayed on the smaller lake. The entire time your fishing you see a ton of bait fish. Bluegill and especially a lot of 1 to 2 inch bass in the shallows. I think the surplus of food is what makes this bass a little tougher to catch, but fun to fight when you hook into them. 6 fish were between 1-3lbs, and one sunfish the size of m hand. Was using a Texas rigged creature bait and just kind of swimming it on top of the vegetation that is submerged 2-4ft in that part of the lake.
