Started fishing at 7 am,got on a 2.5 lb on the second cast of the morning with a popper. The top water bite was on fire  till about 9 am,caught 5 on top water,and missed about 4. Once the top water bite turned off,I switched to a white chatter bait and caught a few small ones,then a few more small ones on a blue gill colored lipless crank. most fish were in the 2 lb range,most of the bites near the north west corner of the lake.
