My Brother and I fished Yates place 6/23 from 6:00 AM to Noon.  Caught 1 fish over 16” (16.5) and a dozen under 16” so the fishing was slow - tried all depths and types of lures and no real consistent pattern.  Can’t blame it on the wind, if anything it was too calm.  Can’t blame it on the weather, it was cloudy/foggy and relatively mild all morning and I can’t blame it on the boat - a very nice boat to fish from is available.  As my Brother says, “They can’t all be top 10 days.”
The fellowship was excellent, Mr. Yates visited with us, pointed us to some areas to try and let us borrow an electric knife to clean what we caught.  Couldn’t ask for a nicer host and a nicer place - went in and looked around the cabin and it is very nice as well.
Brought the fillets home and grilled them up for fish sandwiches for my Wife and Son so, from their perspective things were great! 
I’ll definitely go back and try again this Fall.
