Fished Timber Lake the morning of August 13. The lake was close to full and a little stained , maybe about 16" visibility. The vegetation was not an issue anywhere on the lake.With the water level and vegetation status I was able to get into each cove.
Caught 27 bass with 4 removed and 23 over the 14" target. The largest was 4 lbs and the others were very nice size.
I did not do any good along the dam but I did locate fish scattered around everywhere else. The best baits were a white and a watermelon seed 5" wacky and a watermelon seed paddle tail tx rig worm. Nothing on a crank bait and only a few on 4" worms.

That is a solid 1/2 day of fishing in August. Good job!
Did you see any shad schooling? We added a bunch in May.
