All fish caught were on topwater early. There were no bites after about 8:30, and I left around 10:30am. I paddled around and anchored in a few locations that provided good casting access to a variety of depths. Most of the bass I caught were from the middle of the lake. I tried a variety of lures, but all 5 bass landed were on an H20 Double Plop.  I also caught a sunfish on a Zoom fluke. This was my first time at this property, so I was unaware of the abundance of vegetation. It is definitely something I will plan for next time since the majority of the lake is shallow with thick vegetation. The boat options were good, and everything was well organized for guest access. I met Jerry on my way out. He was very welcoming and a pleasure to meet. I will definitely be back.
