Early bite on whopper plopper. Caught fish all through the day in all areas of the lake, even though the shallow ends were not productive after mid morning. Took a 2 hour break because of the heat. Popper was most the most productive lure in the heat of midday. Enjoyable outing, topped off with the friendly cow dog.
