Fished 3 hours evening of the 6th and 3 hours morning of Labor Day.  Caught 2 lmb about a lb each on wacky pumpkin senko. Also caught a very large crappie.  Just couldn't find em.  Water was muddy and looked to have been 3 foot higher after the rains earlier in the week.  It was still running out the spillway.  (This is a soil conservation lake.)  Little to no structure and no grass mats.  Had a nice visit from someone's dog - it swam at least 75 yards to get to us.   The restored farmhouse is a very nice accommodation, wife says "adorable".
