Beautiful morning without a cloud in the sky.

Started fishing about 8:45 and tried some topwater lures for just a bit (frog, whopper plopper). No luck. Visibility was <1ft. Spent most of the morning switching between black/blue and chartreuse chatterbaits. Caught 4 dinks mostly along the damn but 1 in the middle where the depth changes. Hooked a good one (guessing +/-4lbs) right by the boat launch on a chartreuse and white stickbait but I let it jump and shake me off. Sometimes that's the way it goes...
