2 of us fished the afternoon on 10/22, but got rained (and lightninged) out on Friday, 10/23.  Had to really work for the fish.  Bite was extremely soft and non-aggressive.  A real mix of one here and one there, with a few tight to the bank and some in the middle of the lake at various places.  No top water bite at all.  Tried all sorts of lures, spinner, crank, buzz, swim, lots of different plastics and even Meps and couldn't get anything to bite except on watermelon red flake senkos.  Water was really murky and about 2' down from full.  Pretty windy all day, but wind died down in evening.  No increase in bite in evening.  The cabin is small, but perfect and beautiful.  Really nice property.  We are convinced there are some really nice fish in this lake.  The 4s and 5 we caught were respectable fish!  Not sure why we couldn't figure it out this time, but that's fishing!
