First of all, I want to say...this is a beautiful property! I fished hard from 9-4 on Friday. The Wind was out of the South @ 10+ MPH and blew the boat all over the lake, 3/4 of the lake was impossible to fish...thick matted grass is everywhere (hard to run the trolling motor), plus the water is clear and very shallow in places. Lots of yearling bass in this lake. The smaller 8-acre lake on the property was in great shape, very little grass and is deeper. Water is a bit too clear for my liking, easy to spook fish. Only fished small lake for 30 mins., no action. Wished I would have taken time to fish it longer. Beautiful day to be on the water!!!
