Made my second trip to Double A Ranch on Tuesday. This trip was very unlike my first trip there about 3 weeks ago. The first trip produced over twenty bass, along with one almost 6lb, plus almost that many that never made it to the boat. Tuesdays trip netted a total of 3, with no other bites or hook-ups.  Several factors may have been at play: the cold front blew in during the day (though I'd hoped it might stir up the bite since it wasn't the day after it); it didn't! It rained a while, then the wind blew, then it got flat calm and the sun came out! All in all it wasn't a bad day, but the fish just were not cooperative. Each fish caught was on a different lure; not usually a good sign if you're looking for a pattern.  By the way, the metal runners added to the launch ramp are great and make launching much easier. Thanks to the landowner and PWF for providing this great lake for the club. Hope to pick a better weather day next time.
