David Owens and I fished topwater from 5:30AM-7AM mainly at the dam.  Caught a dozen or so largemouth, biggest being 2.8 lbs.  Hula poppers, anything with two propellers on it worked great.  Then went to deeper waters with crank baits, jigs and worms.  All told, we harvested 14 and released a dozen.  Biggest crappie was 1.11.  All in all, a great morning.
