Fished on Monday the 23^rd from 8 to 4 under blue bird skies. Water temp was a surprising 61 to 62 given the cool nights we’ve been having lately. Air temp was mid 40’s but I was prepared for the cold weather and it warmed up to the mid 60's. Fished the first lake from 8 to 11:30. Caught 26 under 2.5 lbs with 6 culls and two crappie that we’re returned. Moved over to the third lake and fished from 12:30 to 4 catching 72 with 1 returned anywhere there was 5 feet of water. A good portion of this lake is under 3 feet deep. Most of the culls we’re at or near 14 inches. Spinnerbait in bluegill, paddletail swimbail with underspin, Okashira screwhead with a small paddletail swimbait, Blakemore Randy’s Swim’n Runner and 20 on a fly (Game Changer – white). Beautiful ranch and lakes with rolling hills. Met the owner and his dog Buddy.  Showed me pic of 8 lber from first lake and told me that his pastor put two 6 lbers in the lake.  Great addition to the club.
