Saturday was my first visit to this property. I fished from 11:30 am to 6 pm caught 1 nice fish. The one I caught was only 17” Long but was a healthy 4 lbs 2 oz. She was caught on a ned rig in 5 ft of water near the dam overflow. Fish was very light in color and had no wear to her tail area. Water was muddy and I didn’t get a temp but it did rain the night before and off and on through the day. I threw rattle traps, square bills, chatterbaits, and a Jig and I got a few swings from those but no hookups. This property is probably only 7 to 10 warm days from going off. I look forward to returning.
