Slot Fish
Son and I fished Moonshine on Saturday. We had the pleasure being one of the 1st to fish this new addition to the club. We launched at 9 am and got off at 4 pm. We ended the day with 40 bass. We culled 11 and returned 29 chunky fat 16”-20” fish. Son got the biggest of the day, a 20” 4+ lb on a red rattle trap.
Great looking lake with lots of timber and other cover and structure. The deep timber filled creek and the road bed were where we did most of our damage. Green pumpkin chatterbait and Texas rigged zoom speed craw were other top baits aside from the red rattle trap.
Water is fairly clear. 56-58 degrees. This place should go off soon. Couldn't find the big females but no doubt they are there.
PS the on-site boat needs to be bailed and needs a plug possible. I couldn't find my extra plug in my boat. Rock ramp is good but need to line up right as it falls off some.

That’s a pretty good day Chris, glad you enjoyed the lake, it should be a great new addition!
