I fished Weston SW Lake with the landowner today for a few hours. We caught 5 fish with a 3.6, 4.1 and a nice 7.11. Three of the four biggest fish came on a pumpkin colored jig 20 feet from the coontail. Most fish caught on the west side, which is the island side of the lake. The 7.11 was fat, probably 110 percent of relative weight, no doubt a result of feeding on the recently introduced tilapia to the lake. You can see hundreds of 2 inch to 4 inch tilapia on the west side of the island. We had a camera malfunction, human error when taking the picture with my phone, or we would have a picture to add to this post.
