Lake and surrounding area are in great shape. Water was pretty clear and fish bit aggressively.  Caught 7 Bass on a Booyah Boss Pop in Z Shad and 4 Bass on a Zoom Super Fluke in Pearl.  Only fished for 2 hours.  Bass were scarpy and all right at 1 ½ to 2lbs.  I didn’t end up using the jon boat as I decided to check out the shore fishing as I might bring my aging Dad here for an afternoon of fishing.  Shoreline was nicely manicured and perfect for that.  I’ll defintiely make it back here.
