The fish haul wasn’t overly impressive but the size and health of the fish we did land were impressive.  No dinks.  All healthy, fat, and fighters.  The wind was off and on throughout the afternoon and blew us around a bit on the Pelican.  It was especially tough because both the west and east side of the lake have heavy vegetation that extends out 10 – 20 feet and will bog down your trolling motor if you get too deep into it.  Best success was staying towards the middle and throwing along the edges of the vegetation.  Super fluke was the most effective bait yesterday for us.  Overall, the fish are there, getting to them was a bit tough for us yesterday.
