There are a lot of great reports from the weekend, so I’ll keep it short and sweet. 38 total (inc: 5 crappie) – up to 3.5 lbs. Water was ultra clear and 64F. Spotted multitudes of beds in shallow water with a buck nearby all of them. We never saw a big female. Besides picking off some bucks up shallow, drifting along the large grass flat yielding some takers. Beautiful day, great weather – only downer was a significant clearing and construction effort of some sort taking place at a nearby property after bragging to my buddy about the quiet and seclusion. But that’s progress and development! Great time to be in TX and a member of PWF.
