Not a good day to sit in a pelican. The big boat has a rotten cross board in the aft.  Resulting in no seat.  Arrived just after noon and hit the pond by gate. Picked up a nice fish on a frog.  Moved down the road further hit two more on frogs.  Fished the northwest corner of the big lake.  This area was most productive for the day.  Caught them on red shad senko, watermelon red fluke and blue black yum dingers.  We also caught a few in small pond.     The bite was in spurts.  Half the fish were 3 pounds and still fat with roe.   We left  around 6:30 pm. Water is clear, weeds not a factor and ponds are full.   Good time as we got a lot of exercise walking the shoreline.  Nothing at south end.
