Total Fish/Sizes : 18 Bass. Throwbacks were all between 17 and 18 inches

Got the boat loaded and started out. Right off the bat a small bass on fluke.  We moved over to the spillway area and picked up a few more.  Then up the creek channel for a couple.  By 5 pm the wind died a little. We started drifting the length of the lake picking up the balance of fish for the day. The lake is in good shape. The weeds are not to the top yet. Saw lots of deer, horses and exotics on our way out.  Just can't figure a pattern as it looked like the fish have spawned out.  But again saw no Bass beds.  This place is just a perfect setting, one end in pasture and the other in an oak forest.
